Years ago, I wrenched myself or had capable friends but nowadays capable and available are hard to come by.  I blindly trusted the dealership for a while but had some disappointing and costly experiences.  It is not uncommon that while paying top dollar, you are getting a recently out of school mechanic following computer checklists and for further evaluation may be getting video inspections with manufacturer engineers in another state.  I did my research and came across 3 Rivers Diesel.  These guys have time under their belt, passion for the job, less overhead provide full transparency on what is happening with your vehicle.  I believe they can truly diagnose issues and provide common sense preventative care.  I interviewed them first before dropping my Ford off for a DCR fuel pump conversion (a pretty extensive job) and after spending a bit of time with Devin I knew their focus is on the relationship, not just the sale.  Its been 6 months now and I truly couldn't be happier with the performance and piece of mind this upgrade has provided.  Communication, knowledge, passion, service, cleanliness are all there! Both times 3 Rivers Diesel and Repair had my truck back to me the same day, incredible....what started out as a potential disaster, 3 Rivers totally took care of it and right before the July 4th Weekend and I could put that whole dilemma behind me.
